Free write for 7-10 minutes. Do not stop to think, do not edit. If you cannot think of anything to write, write “I cannot think of anything to write” until something else comes to mind. The exercise here is to get your creative pathways unblocked.
I set my alarm for 10 minutes and this is what I got :)
Today started out awesome. I woke up and took a nice deep breathe and was grateful for it knowing it was the best day of my life. Today and everyday for awhile now, I realize that today is the only day I will really evewr have. This was a beautiful realization. From there I needed to remember the top things on my gratitude list for my day. Then on to centering myself and some meditation. I am sitting here with my dogs now, just me and them. My daughter is spending the night at her best friends house for a birthday party. I bet she is having fun. Was just training my dogs a little and playing with them before I started writing. One is still sitting at my feet now. I really miss the chaos when my daughter is not here. She is a blast and we have a lot of fun together. We were both at the dog training class together last night. Our pitbull was really scared and another dog growled at him. Thank god he isn't an aggressive pit. I can't think of anything to write. I am thirsty though and can't wait till my alarm goes off so I can go get a drink. I can't think

Inspiration for my daily life
Where do you seek inspiration in your daily life? How can you apply that inspiration to your writing? Does your inspiration guide your writing style? Does your writing style block your inspiration?
I seek inspiration in my daily life though a few things I m diligent with on a daily basis. When I wake before doing anything else I always take note of a handful of things I am grateful for. I know that when I am in gratitude there is acceptance and therefore peace and joy in my day. I also get inspired though meditation which is the second thing I always do. From there the result of these bring other things that inspire me. I become loving which brings love. I tend to be kind and hopefully bring a smile to peoples faces I come across during the day which brings kindness in return. Another thing that inspires me is seeing growth in those around me, knowing that every moment our world is becoming a better place to share.
I am still trying to figure out how to apply this to my writing as I am not much of a writer. The thoughts come alot faster than I can type. If I speak these thoughts they often sound real good, but if they don't come out immediately I forget them before I can get them typed. I think in a way my inspiration does guide my writing style. My writing style does not block my inspiration as inspiration comes from within. I believe that my inspiration is part of my passion which cannot be blocked by anything.
